Refund Policy + Terms & Conditions of Ticketing

Jozi Vibes Entertainment events has a no refunds policy. This means that if you purchase tickets and cannot attend for any reason, you may qualify for a transfer or future credit, but you will not qualify for a refund under any circumstance.

If you miss your bus:

We do not do refund clients should you miss the departure to or from the destination.

In the unfortunate situation of cancellation due to a breakdown we will refund clients (or offer a free of charge postponement), should such breakdown occur in the first half of the excursion.

Should the breakdown occur in the second half of your excursion, alternative transport will be provided but no refund will be given.

The driver has instructions to return on the mutually agreed time and will not be able to wait for passengers not pitching after visits to destinations.

Your purchase of Tickets is subject to our right to postpone, cancel or reschedule an Event at any time, or to alter or vary the programme of an Event, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where we alter or vary the programme of an Event, we shall not be obligated to refund any Ticket monies or exchange your Tickets.

We work hard to ensure a safe and memorable event.

During our planning and permitting process we consider all factors that would impact the safety and enjoyability of the event including weather, capacity limits, and health & safety restrictions due to COVID-19.

Our event is weather dependent (Rain, Wind, and Lightning)

Our number 1 priority is holding a safe event that brings the community together to make magical memories. Because Jozi Vibes Entertainment events takes place on a Open-Top Party Bus, it is highly dependent on the weather.

The weather factors we must consider are:
  • Rain
  • Thunderstorms
  • Wind
What’s our process for monitoring weather changes?
If everything looks fine:
  • We’ll move forward with the event as planned and will watch for wind, rain, and weather changes daily as we get closer to the event.
If the weather absolutely won’t work:
  • Our goal is always to give as much notice as possible if we do plan on postponing an event. We’ll update you about any changes or postponements through social media, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Day-of cancellations: We have OCCASIONALLY been required to postpone an event on the day of. This is not ideal, but it is a much better option than postponing the event after attendees have boarded. 

Long story short, there are a lot of factors that go into holding a safe and compliant event. If we have to make changes we’ll let you know as far enough in advance as possible.

If a postponement is required:

While we will never cancel an event because of weather or environmental conditions, conditions may necessitate a postponement to a later date.

In the event of a postponement we will work hard to secure a make-up date or reschedule our Pub Crawl guests to the next event. Your tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. If the participant is unable to attend the make-up date, we will provide a ticket credit that can be used for any future Jozi Vibes Entertainment Party Bus Pub Crawl.

Tickets are non-refundable — even if if there is a postponement.

If you are owed a refund (due to cancellation) we will only refund the original purchaser to their original payment method.

If a cancellation is required:

There are very view circumstances that will require a cancellation. If the event is cancelled with no makeup date, then we will issue a 100% refund to all customers.

How can you protect yourself from a postponement?

First and foremost, the weather is out of our hands. We don’t like postponing our events and it’s not favorable for us, but it does happen from time to time.

We understand that plans can change and it may be inconvenient for you to attend if the event is postponed to a new date.

If you purchased tickets using your email and phone number, you are automatically on our list to receive updates.

  • Updates via email will come from bookings@jozivibes.co.za (Sometimes these emails go to spam or junk. Search your inbox if you don’t see anything from us.)
  • Updates via WhatsApp will come from +27 61 549 1931

If you did NOT place the order with us:

If someone else purchased tickets for you, most likely you are not registered to receive updates with us. You can register for event updates on our homepage. Just scroll to the bottom and fill out the form or contact us via the above channels.

Idemnity Waiver Information

All passengers enter the shuttle entirely so at their own risk. 

Passengers are not allowed to stand whilst the bus is moving. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!

Standing on any seat is strictly prohibited.

Children under 10 years are not allowed without adult supervision.

Jozi Vibes Entertainment (Pty) Ltd carries passenger liability, but we strongly advise tourists/passengers to take out adequate travel insurance to cover personal accidents, medical expenses and loss of belongings.

This activity is being undertaken at my own risk and the company involved herewith, namely Jozi Vibes Entertainment (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable to me or my dependents for any claims arising from injuries, whether fatal or otherwise, sustained during the activity, howsoever such injuries are caused.

No smoking is permitted on board including Vapes and E-Cigarettes, should this happen, the driver will immediately stop the Bus and the passenger will be ejected from the shuttle service.

Please note that CCTV and film cameras may be present at the Venue. By purchasing Tickets and attending the Event, you consent to being filmed, photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded, and that your name, voice and likeliness may be broadcasted, displayed or distributed (commercial or otherwise) without any compensation being paid to you.

Any damage to the bus for the amount of more than R500 will be for the account of the undersigned.

All guests must comply with the lawful instructions of any of the employees of Jozi Vibes Entertainment (Pty) Ltd or face possible ejection from the transportation service.

Jozi Vibes Entertainment (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for any loss of or damage to any property sustained by any guests, howsoever such damage is caused.

By purchasing tickets from JVE, you accept that the Policies and Terms and Conditions set out here, sets out the full basis of the relationship between Jozi Vibes Entertainment (Pty) Ltd and purchaser acknowledges that it is governed by the laws of South Africa and that in the event of bringing any legal action against the company, its members, servants or contractors, you agree that only the courts of South Africa shall have jurisdiction.
